My twin brother, Piper, was adopted into a family with a mommy, a daddy, and two sons several weeks ago. They even have a dog and another cat! I've gotten postcards and letters from him and he's over-the-moon happy to be part of a real family. He tells me to keep my chin up, that it will happen for me too, but sometimes I get discouraged. I'm not a baby anymore, and I know lots of families prefer babies. I'm also at that gangly pre-teen stage, only about 5-7 months old. But I do have a loving foster home and I'm thankful for that. I could be like poor Little Orphan Annie before she went to live with Daddy Warbucks.
But don't get me wrong, I'm not a greedy kitty. I don't need lots of money, just a home with a wealth of love and stability to give. In return, I'll give you lots of kitty kisses and soothing purring. I'll let you stroke my fur to ease your tension away. I'll make you feel like the most important person in the world, following you around and calling your name. My kitty antics will make you laugh. We will make each other so happy, I can just see it now . . .
My brother says he can't wait to open a letter from me one day and see that I've been adopted into my own family. You make the call and I'll start writing that letter.
